Summary |
I interview patients, make medical histories, do Physical examinations and prescribe medications ang order laboratories or diagnotics needed and advise follow up to different barangays especially indigent ones. I give educational talks to communities about common good healthcare practices and promoting prevention. I am active in doing feeding programs especially to the less unfortunate.
As a School Physician, I do complete physical exams and medical history on all students upon school entrance. Students consult me about any conditions they are experiencing including Allergies, Asthma, Pneumonia,Diarrhea, Dysmenorrhea, Food poisoning, Skin Infections, Migraine etc. I provide First Aid in Basic Healthcare and Emergency cases: wound dressing, foreign body removal, nebulization for Asthma attacks etc. I give educational talks and promote proper health & hygiene and Prevention better than cure. I am in charge of the over all health and safety of all students.

Work Experience |
| I worked full time for a year with 36 hr shift. I am the first line in the Emergency room doing the interview of the patients, make and write patient's history, do complete physical exam and order basic laboratories and diagnostics. I rotated in all the specialties for the whole year: Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT/Ophtha, Psychiatry, Radiology/Ultrasound/Ct scan-MRI and Community/Family Medicine. I learned a lot from my work experience in this very prestigious teaching hospital. In each rotation, added knowledge were instilled in my mind and heart. Based on my work experience, I have learned skills that built up my confidence. I strongly believe that I can face any challenges i might encounter in the future because of my exposure to different and lots of patients in the hospital and community setting. I was trained to be focused and efficient even after 36 hour duties. I attended Basic Life Support and Emergency Cases given by same hospital and was given certificate. A research paper was submitted as a requirement in finishing the year. I attended conventions and symposiums to increase my knowledge in Cebu city, Philippines |
